WaveMates Audio collects the information needed to run the storefront, deliver digital products, maintain customer library access, and measure optional marketing performance when you consent.

Information we collect

  • Contact and order data, such as your email address, order totals, purchased products, Stripe checkout identifiers, and order status.
  • Account and library data, such as magic-link sign-in records, purchase history, owned products, and download requests needed to verify access.
  • Technical and fulfillment data, such as IP-address and request-level data made available by our hosting and payment providers, browser/device metadata, and signed-download activity.
  • Marketing and attribution data, such as utm_*, gclid, fbclid, _fbc, _fbp, landing path, referrer host, Google client_id, and your cookie consent choices when available.
  • Communications data, such as messages submitted through contact or newsletter forms and transactional emails related to purchases and account access.

How we collect it

  • Directly from you when you submit forms, check out, or sign in to your library.
  • Automatically through essential browser storage needed for checkout, authentication, and consent preferences.
  • Through optional Google and Meta tags only after you grant consent.
  • From Stripe, Supabase, Netlify, and other service providers when they process purchases, authentication, hosting, and delivery events on our behalf.

How we use it

  • Process payments and confirm purchases.
  • Deliver downloads and maintain your customer library.
  • Send order confirmations and sign-in links.
  • Respond to support or newsletter requests.
  • Prevent abuse, fraud, duplicate fulfillment, or unauthorized downloads.
  • Understand storefront performance and campaign attribution.
  • Send optional advertising and conversion data to Google and Meta only when consent supports it and the relevant integration is enabled.

Payments and delivery

Payments are processed by Stripe. WaveMates Audio does not store full payment card numbers on this site.

Purchased files are stored privately and delivered through short-lived signed URLs after ownership checks. Customer library access is handled through Supabase authentication and our purchase records database.

Service providers

We use service providers to operate the storefront, including:

  • Netlify for hosting, forms, and server functions.
  • Stripe for checkout and payment processing.
  • Supabase for authentication and purchase/account data.
  • Cloudflare R2 for private file storage and signed download delivery.
  • Google Workspace SMTP for order confirmations and magic-link email delivery.
  • Google and Meta for optional analytics, advertising, and conversion measurement when enabled and consented to.

We use essential browser storage to support site functionality such as:

  • Checkout and purchase attribution handoff.
  • Authentication session handling.
  • Download and library access flows.
  • Privacy and consent preferences.

When enabled, optional Google and Meta tracking is loaded only after you make a consent choice through the site’s Privacy Choices controls.

If you consent, we may use analytics and advertising identifiers such as Google client_id, gclid, fbclid, _fbc, and _fbp to measure page views, product interest, checkout starts, sign-ins, downloads, and confirmed purchases.

Confirmed purchase conversions may also be sent server-side from our Stripe webhook to Google and Meta so reporting does not depend on the success page. Those sends are gated by your consent state and the identifiers available from your session.

You can change these choices at any time using the Privacy Choices link in the site footer.

Data sharing

We share data with the providers above only as needed to operate the storefront, fulfill orders, authenticate customers, send emails, and measure consented marketing performance.

We may also disclose information when required to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the site, our customers, or our business.

Retention

We keep purchase and account records for as long as needed to provide download access, support customers, maintain basic business records, and satisfy legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or security obligations.

Optional marketing and attribution data may be retained in our systems and in the tools that receive it according to those providers’ retention settings.

Your choices

You can:

  • Use the Privacy Choices control to grant, deny, or update optional tracking consent.
  • Contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion requests related to the information we control.
  • Opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe method provided in those messages, when available.

Some data may still need to be retained to complete transactions, maintain your library, detect abuse, or comply with legal obligations.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the date above.
